Egypt Museum Reflection
How might you create an interactive exhibit that will encourage young visitors to care about the civilizations of Ancient Egypt? My interactive exhibit is for young visitors to find as many treasures as they can in the box, like Howard Carter did, and will learn that there were over 5, 000 treasures buried with King Tutankhamen, and many other facts. I want them to feel like they are having fun, but learning at the same time. 1) I feel like I helped solve problems a lot and I tried to participate a lot and give suggestions for how to solve this problem. 2) I started of with wanting to have my artifact represent the pharaoh, because I like the fact that my artifact would be like the ruler, and my group was fine with that. I started of with an old shoe box, painted it gold, painted on the bottom half, cut a cardboard headdress, and then made all of my clay elements (the things bulging out), and glued them down with some gold paint.
